Al Khalawi International Steel Products LLC, and Oman Pipes International LLC are one among the leading factories in the field of manufacturing and supplying iron and steel products in the Sultanate of Oman. It is distinguished by its integrated industrial system that combines engineering expertise, world-class quality, and technical innovation.
The factory provides a wide range of products that comply with international standards (ASTM, JIS, BS, DIN), including Mild steel and galvanized pipes, square and rectangular sections, beams and channels, angles and bars, and insulated roofing sheets (PU and PPGI), welded Mesh and Gratings, meeting the needs of modern infrastructure projects.
We operate according to the latest industrial technologies with a qualified engineering team that ensures the highest quality standards at every stage of production. We have also obtained ISO certifications, confirming our commitment to industrial excellence and environmental sustainability.

About the Founder
Mr. Abdullah bin Saif bin Mohammed Al Alshafei began his professional career in the mid-1980s at Oman Mining Company, where he gained extensive practical experience in managing industrial operations and the mining sector. In 1990, he made a strategic decision to enter the industrial sector ambitiously, founding Al Khalawi Trading Establishment in the Muweilah Industrial Area – Sohar, marking the beginning of his ambitious industrial journey.
With his clear vision and strong determination, he expanded his business activities to include manufacturing, and establishing Al Khalwi Engineering And Steel Manufacturing Factory LLC, in the year 2001, equipped with the latest machinery imported from India, Turkey, Ukraine, China, and South Africa. The scope of work included setting up specialized workshops for the fabrication and installation of heavy steel structures and advanced construction components, making the factory one of Oman's leading industrial entities in the steel sector.
In 2010, he continued his expansion by establishing Oman United Pipes Company LLC, specializing in the production of Mild Steel and Galvanized pipes, square and rectangular hollow sections contributing to supporting the national industries and enhancing infrastructure projects in the Sultanate.
Through his continued efforts and belief in excellence and quality, the founder Abdullah Al Alshafei laid the foundation of a pioneering national industrial edifice in the steel sector. After his passing in 2012, the family continued the journey under the leadership of Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Saif Al Alshafei (Executive Director), who holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with distinction and honors. He adopted a modern industrial vision focused on innovation, industrial integration, and sustainability.
This journey was crowned by the establishment of Al Khalawi International Steel Products LLC and Oman Pipes International LLC, which today represent two main pillars of an integrated manufacturing system covering Steel pipes, Hollow sections, roofing sheets, and structural products, applying the highest international quality standards (ISO, ASTM, JIS) and adhering to the principles of sustainable industrial development and expansion into global markets.
